Big “thanks” for the workshop!  I’ve just started with the recording and I wanted to say my hat is off to you for doing this, especially with your own long-COVID.  That in itself seems to validate the whole workshop!

As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic we are living in a rapidly evolving world. This workshop reviews the Occupational Therapy evidence-based approach to Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Post Intensive Care Syndrome which assists to inform us in addition to available evidence with Long COVID. Evidence based tools to assess mental-cognitive fatigue, ADL, IADL are included in the workshop. Clinical case examples, video and small group discussion are used. Workshop materials include intervention resources, assessment tools and supporting research articles. Registration is limited to allow for small group learning.

Got more informed about long Covid symptoms and ME and would now know how to approach assessing this type of client. Helpful to have the Cognitive reporting questionnaires.

I was fortunate to be able to virtually attend the two-day workshop. Lorraine Mischuk provided various useful assessment tools that will be added to the Occupational Therapy Northern Ireland assessment toolkit. The group discussed workplace supports for various conditions including ADHD, anxiety, depression and trauma. I am looking forward to using the new assessments to enhance the Return to Work services we offer to our clients. I highly recommend this workshop to Occupational Therapists working in vocational rehabilitation/return to work services.

Thanks for the awesome occupational therapist workshop and creating an interactive environment, sharing knowledge and asking thought-provoking questions to the group. That’s not easy, especially with virtual formats and mediums.
