Our occupational therapists take the following steps:

  • They rate the frequency of job demands according to the criteria specified by the Dictionary of Occupational Titles (DOT), and/or the National Occupational Classification (NOC).
  • They provide every job with a strength rating.
  • They utilize standardized criteria to rate the cognitive and psychological job demands.
  • They compare information about essential job duties with functional testing to determine the percentage of job duties an individual can safely compete.

Job demand analysis focuses on the physical, cognitive and psychological requirements of a job.
