The analysis focuses on the physical, cognitive and psychological requirements of a job.
Our occupational therapists take the following steps:
- They rate the frequency of job demands according to the criteria specified by the Dictionary of Occupational Titles (DOT), and/or the National Occupational Classification (NOC).
- They provide every job with a strength rating.
- They utilize standardized criteria to rate the cognitive and psychological job demands.
- Information about the essential job duties is compared to functional testing to determine the percentage of job duties an individual can safely compete.
